A live favourite - when I played live that is. Based on a couple of little details that popped in my head at different times. One being the appearance of a gaggle of trainee beauticians at my workplace, none of whom were lucky in the "looky" stakes. Another was a girl who used to work behind the glass at the all night garage between The Arena in Middlesbrough and the bus station. This formed the basis of the lead character in The Lights (and the play version All Night Garage). This song came and went in the musical version although her narrative still formed a good chunk of the core of the story.
From "Your Lipstick Goodbye". This album appeared in a handmade, mirrored sleeve in a limited edition of 10. Wonder who has them now.
