Maybe something that is more recognisable as what I would go on to write further down the line as I started releasing stuff. Teenage Fanclub influence and I was starting to figure out how harmonies work (still am). The song would be developed with Amsterdam Film Company into "Can't Get Through". I guess I felt a little embarrassed at the 'I'm in love with you" line and wanted something edgier. They would rib me about some of the cheesier aspects of my writing and maybe fairly enough.
