The first of my "demo tapes" releases. All of these tracks date from between 1994-1998 I think. Definitely no later. I've tried to cross-reference them against other versions etc and where I have tapes that are clearly dated. 8 of the songs would go on to be worked up live with Bluedog/Amsterdam Film Company (you can hear some of them on the BBC live session in the subscriber collection).

All of these versions were culled from a tape labelled "Electraglide" - hence the title. this, in turn, came from the movie "Electraglide in Blue" a 1970s motorcycle cop movie. The opening speech is from there too. There's a fair bit of sampling going on here so maybe download the album sooner rather than later as it may have to disappear. I used to sample myself a lot too which is how a track like Cooler Than The Fonz came about.

This is, maybe, the "best" of the demo tapes as a whole collection but there's a fair bit more I could share if people want and it's pretty varied! There are liner notes for each track.

I do still have all the original 8 track recordings so may, one day, mix them a bit better and without the tape glitches.
